Create

How production chooses to bring a script to life can be as important as the content itself. As an  IPA (Intimacy Professionals Association) Intimacy Coordinator, my objective is to study the scenes and offer you strategies for a smooth day of shooting. I communicate with performers, share the director’s vision for the scene, help them understand their nudity riders and tell them what they can expect on set. I enumerate the health/safety protocols that helps them feel informed and engaged.

Communicate

*Intimacy is a powerful storytelling tool.

*The Intimacy Coordinator is there to facilitate communication, that will empower all those involved.

*My framework looks to grow a culture of consent and creativity.

*Together, we will inspire a safer workspace for the cast and crew.

Making intimacy fun!

A lot of what I do is to foster an inclusive experience on set, enhance communication, and support the performer’s boundaries. As an IC, I help to mitigate harm while saving production time and money. Using SAG-AFTRA’s safety guidelines, I help actors to enjoy the process of shooting nudity, simulated sex, and all manner of on-screen intimacy.
